by Merines on May 16, 2008, 06:51:03 AMAll right now, time for another experiment. It was discovered that we could release at this higher resolution without losing very much on the video quality. So of course, we decided to offer this option to you guys. BT, DDLThe real question is this: which version would you rather have? As you know, we don't really care for dual releases (unless it's HD/SD which this really isn't), so please tell us which resolution you would like us to release in the future. A poll is attached, so please vote. *Disclaimer: If the video quality of our raws suddenly drops to a point where we can no longer do 1024x576 releases (or if the raw capper stops capping, see recent drama w/ arrests), we will switch back to 704x400 without notice.755 Views | 48 Replies

by Merines on May 13, 2008, 01:32:29 PMCouple notes about this release: If you notice, there's no OP, but there is an ED. Why? First, the OP isn't there because it's not done, plain and simple, and we're extremely tired of people whining about a new release, so we're putting 27 out without it. When we do finish it, placing the OP file in the same folder as this file will play normally (hopefully anyway, else we'll have to put up a v2 -- don't complain to us if that happens), just like episodes 13-26. Second, the ED will be a part of every episode and not a separate file until it changes. Why? There are at least three different versions of this ending. It's just simpler for everyone if we just keep them in this time. However, if they stop changing, we may segment them. So, to review: no OP yet because it's not done and we're tired of whining, and the ED3 (episodes 27-39?) is a part of the episode file. BT, DDL [/url] If you feel the need to ask when the next episode will be out, just don't. Feel free to watch the raw episode and discuss it on some anime blogger's page or on Animesuki. Even if you see no harm in asking us, we will no longer be "nice" about these types of questions. 550 Views | 29 Replies

by Merines on May 11, 2008, 05:52:25 PMThis project has been... rather taxing... on everyone involved. It made martino want to murder me on more than on occasion. It's a story about a boy, his dog, a nameless swordsman, and an elixir of immortality. Sounds interesting, yes? It's a very good movie, and I'm glad to be a part of this release. BT, DDLSpecs: 16:9 h.264 anamorphic video, 5.1ch sound There are also three sub tracks in this version: English, English with translator notes, and a Japanese track. Blu-ray... Might come out in some version, someday. 229 Views | 2 Replies

by martino on May 10, 2008, 12:41:50 PMTo whomever that has been been noticing us with messages regarding how slowly we have been releasing Shugo Chara and calling us with nice words, please stop it. If you want to be a man, and not some scaredy-cat using a non-regged nickname and suddenly quitting, just PM us and we'll sort it out like people do and not retards. Just to let you know, this will not make Shugo Chara come out any faster, in fact it may be the opposite since we (or I anyway) have been disgusted with the recent happenings in the community which does not help in any way at all. There's no need to say that it is being worked on. We have our priorities, and nothing that you do will make it go any faster, it will only hinder us. So go do something more productive like the majority of people while waiting instead of acting like an idiot.
Same goes for other shows. There is absolutely no need to tell us that Reborn 81 is out, for example. 452 Views | 9 Replies

by Merines on May 09, 2008, 08:24:46 AMSo, after much to do about nothing as we're all in the middle of finals, this finally got done. Softsubbed dialogue/OP/ED, 16:9 anamorphic video, et cetera. No XviD version, so don't ask, as usual. BT, DDL177 Views | 10 Replies
